How It Started
Speaker design started for us the way the best things usually do — as a passion. For over a decade, we dedicated our spare time to designing, building, and refining loudspeakers. Not for any commercial reason, simply because we loved it. Every weekend was spent experimenting with drivers, cabinet designs, crossover networks, and enclosure tuning — chasing that perfect combination of clarity, dynamics, and depth.
Over time, the speakers we built began turning heads. Friends, family, and people in our circle started taking notice of how our systems sounded. The question we kept hearing was: "Can you make one for me?" What began as a hobby slowly, naturally, became something more. Word spread, demand grew, and Clarity Dynamics was born — built on ten years of hands-on speaker design experience and a genuine obsession with high-fidelity audio.
From those early builds in Essex, we expanded into designing our own commercial speaker range and manufacturing custom subwoofer drivers in-house. And when we discovered Denovo Audio and the quality of their flat-pack cinema kits, we knew we wanted to bring them to the UK and European market properly.
Denovo Audio had built a loyal following among home cinema enthusiasts and audiophiles across the United States — but for customers in the UK and Europe, getting hold of their kits meant long shipping times, expensive import fees, and uncertainty around warranty and support.
We saw a gap and decided to fix it.

Our subwoofers are where we go furthest. Every Clarity Dynamics subwoofer driver is custom-designed and manufactured in-house. We don't source off-the-shelf components and rebrand them — our drivers are engineered from the ground up, giving us full control over motor structure, cone materials, excursion behaviour, and acoustic tuning.
